Hybrid Combo — Dry Ice + Gel Pack
Dry ice cools your cooler down fast and keeps it near 0°F while it lasts. As it sublimates, the gel pack — already chilled solid by the dry ice sitting next to it — takes over and keeps things cold longer than dry ice alone. One box, two-stage cooling.
Default bundle: 10 lbs dry ice + 2 gel packs — $18.00

Shipping Weight Guide
Dry ice is a regulated hazardous material (UN1845, Class 9). Weight limits depend on how the package travels:
| Shipping mode | Max per package | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Domestic ground & cargo-only flights | Up to 200 lbs per box | Standard for most ground and cargo carrier shipments. If a greater quantity is needed, it will be shipped in multiple boxes. |
| Passenger aircraft | Max 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg) per box | DOT-restricted when flying alongside passengers. If a greater quantity is needed, it will be shipped in multiple boxes. |
| International shipments | Up to 200 kg (~440 lbs) per box | Per major carrier international allowance, per package. If a greater quantity is needed, it will be shipped in multiple boxes. |
| Orders over 200 lbs | Multiple boxes | We split large orders into multiple compliant packages — no order is too big. |
Any amount can be shipped — orders above single-package limits are simply split across multiple boxes so every package stays within legal weight limits.
Every shipment is packed venting (never airtight, to prevent pressure buildup) and labeled UN1845 Class 9 with the exact dry ice weight in kilograms, as required by carrier and DOT regulations.
Before You Drive Off — Transporting Dry Ice in Your Car
Keep it in the trunk. Put the dry ice in the trunk, away from people. If it must stay inside the car, roll the windows down. Dry ice makes a gas called CO2 — and in a closed space, CO2 pushes out the oxygen in the air. That means you won't get enough oxygen to breathe normally. You may feel dizzy or lightheaded, then pass out, and in the worst case it can be deadly. Always keep the windows cracked.
Wear gloves — never touch it with bare hands. Dry ice is so cold it can burn your skin, just like touching something very hot. Always use gloves or a thick towel to pick it up. Fun fact: dry ice is about -109.3°F (-78.5°C) — colder than anywhere on Earth ever gets naturally.
What People Use It For
- Fishing & Hunting — keeping your catch or game fresh. Pellets pack tight around fish and game, from a Keys charter to a backyard cooler. Traveling anglers welcome, no advance account needed.
- Shipping & Freight — food-grade dry ice for shipping food or perishables. Blocks for longer transit times, properly labeled and boxed for major carriers.
- Medical & Lab — temperature-sensitive samples. Add a temperature data recorder for chain-of-custody proof.
- Freezer Breakdown — dry ice freezer backup for emergency food preservation. Same-day pickup or courier delivery when a freezer goes down.
- Events & Parties — dry ice for cooler chilling and fog effects. Small blocks and pellets sized for coolers and fog machines.
- Breweries & Food Service — food-grade recurring supply orders. Set up a standing weekly or monthly order, no minimum required.
